At the Merseyside Sports Partnership Awards Dinner held at the Adelphi Hotel on Friday 6th Novenber 2009 Liverpool Cricket Club Cricket Section was awarded with the prestigious honour of the Sports Club of the Year Award - this honour was bestowed upon the club for all of the work done at junior level, the work done in relation to the 20/20 game and the county championship match and the founding of a girls and ladies cricket section. Well done to all involved.
