Movember Foundation

Liverpool Collegiate men’s team are raising awareness for men’s health, both physical and mental, this November. The lads are growing a Mo for a Bro in a campaign for men to get regular checks both of their physical and mental wellbeing. All donations are sent direct to the Movember foundation and we have set a goal of £500. Please help us to reach that target! As a club we’d like to highlight to all our players and supporters that it’s okay to not be okay and to never feel ashamed to ask someone at our club for help!

Visit this link to make your donation, and if you see the lads on game day please give them some compliments on their new facial hair as they look beautiful!

County Calls!

Huge congratulations to our young member Aoibheann Shah who has been selected for Lancashire in the U13 range!

Last month’s season finale for the Lancashire Girls Interleague Competition saw 14 girls from the Liverpool Comp Interleague teams selected to Best Of’ teams to take on the current county age group teams (at U11, U13, U15 and U18), hosted by Monton CC and Wythenshawe CC

Following these matches and the Girls County Observations Sessions held at Emirates Old Trafford, 5 girls were selected to the County Age Group squads for the winter, at U13, U16 and U18.

We wish Aoibheann every success and look forward to nurturing more stars of the future!

Congratulations Jared

Massive congratulations to Jared Clein
for winning the Liverpool Cricket Comp Div 1 player of the year! 🏆

Jared scored 544 runs @ 38 with 3x50s and 1×100, as well as 42 wickets at an average of 12 with 2x5fers. 🍒

Jared will also be taking over the 1st Team captaincy as of next season after longstanding captain Matty Jackson has given over the reigns. Best of luck!

A great start!

A fantastic start to the indoor winter league for our section with an impressive win over local rivals Palmerston. What is even more impressive is the fact that the pairs involved had never played together in a competitive match before and two of them have never even met. We hope to continue with this success in our next game against East Wavertree.

In order to ensure that our members have the best coaching in the region, and become better equipped to participate in competitive matches, our Head Coach ANT HARDMAN will be running all coaching sessions in the future, both group and individual. Ant has just stepped down as world ranked number 1 Neil Skupski’s coach and has committed to our sections growth and development. We are privileged to have him join our tennis family.

Such has been the success of our social tennis sessions that we are now arranging Sunday groups from 10:00-12:00 in addition to our regular Saturday (2:00-4:00pm) and Wednesday (6:30pm onwards) sessions. All members are invited to join us, either take up a new sport or return to their spiritual home.

As Diana Ross once sang’ it may be winter outside………..but on our courts it’s spring’.

Men’s and Women’s Rugby Need You!

Both our men’s and women’s rugby teams are on the lookout for new players for the 24/25 season.

If you’re a budding player or new to the sports then why not get in touch as inclusivity is at our core! As well as the playing side there’s also lots of social activities on offer so you’re never be without something to do at the weekend.

If you’re interested then please email liverpoolcollegiaterufc@gmail.com for more info.

New courts, New Coach

We have freshly re-surfaced tennis courts that are available to all playing members for free as part of their membership package and also to non-members at £10 per hour.

On top of this we have our new Head Coach Ant Hardman and his team who will be delivering his innovation GENZ coaching programme which will allow players of all abilities to improve their game.

Ant previously coached current Wimbledon mixed doubles champ and local lad Neal Skupski. If you want a sneaky heads up on what this involves please visit his instagram page; @genzdoubles_system.
