Liverpool Under 11s enjoyed a rare victory away at New Brighton on another balmy evening on the Wirral.

Put into bat, Liverpool scored consistently throughout and the final pair of Oliver and Sanjay added nearly 50 to push Liverpool’s score up to beyond 300, with 307 an imposing total.  Oliver top scored with 26, ably supported by Ashton Webb (17), Ellis Harrison (12) and Maxey Karim (11).

In response, Liverpool held firm against an early New Brighton counter attack which at one point put them well ahead of the rate.  Liverpool battled back with Oliver, Ellis and Ayman each taking two wickets to restrict the hosts to 247, resulting in a 60 run win for the visitors.

A great team performance.
