Liverpool were defeated by Sefton Park A team by 81 runs in an unsavoury encounter.

Batting first Sefton scored 314 runs off their 16 overs, with Maxey Karim the pick of the bowlers taking 2 for 16 off his three overs.

In response, Liverpool struggled to 233, with Oliver Hallam top scoring with 12.  Shot of the day however went to Thomas Harper for his lofted cover drive on his way to his 10 not out.

Result: Liverpool lost by 81 runs
