Liverpool Under 11s final match of the league season saw all kinds of records broken as Liverpool scored over 300 runs for the fourth successive match.

Batting first, Liverpool amassed a huge total of 374 with each batsman contributing.  Ellis, Alex, Denis and Ashton each reached their respective top scores, with Alex Whittingham hitting five successive fours during his innings of 31.

In reply, Sefton B never looked in the game and were restricted to 246.  Bowling honours went to Denis Pearson who took 3 for 15 of 3 overs.

So a record win of 128 runs, a record team total of 374 and a record number of players scoring over 20 meant it was a great night all round.

This win secured Liverpool’s place in the league play-off semi final against Bootle on Monday 16th July.
