Liverpool won an entertaining game as they hosted Wavertree Storm in the MYC League.

Liverpool handed debuts to six players and fielding first they restricted Wavertree to 235 in their 16 overs – Jude Frees taking the honours with 2 for 5 off his two overs.

In reply, Liverpool scored steadily throughout the innings scoring 269, with Ayman Hossain and Ashton Webb both making double figures.

Result: Liverpool won by 35 runs
