At our end-of-season tennis awards night, we celebrated two teams earning league promotions – with one crowned champions! 🏆 Players voted for Player of the Year, while Club Person of the Year went to someone who made the biggest impact both on and off the court. Taking place in our ballroom during the club’s open mic night, it was a perfect finish to a perfect season, with members still in the bar till late & then nipping over to Lark Lane for afters.

Open mic nights are held on the last Friday of every month. Whether you want to sing, play an instrument, read a poem, or just enjoy a drink and a chat, everyone’s welcome. No need to book – just turn up, grab a seat, and join in however you like.

Social Night🍹

No rest for the wicked, however, as preparations for next season swiftly continued. We hosted our social tennis & padel night on Monday, furthering our aim to improve the mental health & wellbeing of our players & members, by bringing them together for a fun night of sport. It was a great mix of coached sessions & social play, with players of all levels taking part. It was also an opportunity to welcome back our coaches from We Do Tennis, who are, as the name suggests, our LTA-accredited tennis coaches.

A great turnout of people came to try tennis and/or padel for the first time or jump back in where they left off, so much so, they were filled to the brim! We even had to start a waitlist for the junior sessions. The evening carried on with plenty of laughs, drinks, and relaxing in the members’ lounge 🎾🍹. If you loved the vibe, why not make it official?
