Want to keep playing the game you love at your own pace?
Walking Rugby is a slower-paced, non-contact version of the game we love. Perfect for anyone who wants to stay active, meet new people, and still enjoy the thrill of rugby without the heavy hits. If you’re retired or recovering from an injury, a slower version is the best way to get started again. If you’re a veteran of the sport and want to take a break from the fast-paced contact, or fancy a fun and social way to play it, Walking Rugby is for you!
Training is on Wednesdays at 7pm till 8pm on our bottom pitches just off of Riversdale Road.
Benefits of Walking Rugby:
It’s open to everyone, including retired players, those recovering from injury, veterans, and newcomers. The activity is low impact, supporting heart health, balance, and mobility. It’s also social and fun, offering opportunities to make friends and enjoy time together on and off the pitch.
