The 2025 Graham Moore Memorial Cup took place on Sunday 28th September in glorious sunshine. With 32 players competing in this Special Pairs Competition, it was a brilliant day of bowling, laughter and community spirit.

It is an annual competition open to everyone! An established bowler partners with a newcomer or complete beginner. It is an opportunity for newcomers to learn bowls along with enjoying a great social gathering.

It was a joy to see so many new faces either playing or offering support for this fabulous celebration in memory of Graham. He was a much loved character who was a mainstay of the bowls section for many years. Sue Moore would like to thank everyone for their participation, organisation and generally being fun people!

The final of the 2025 Graham Moore Memorial Cup was a closely fought contest, Ray and Chelsea vs Frank and John. Commiserations to Ray and Chelsea and Congratulations to Frank and John – Great Final, Great Day!
